At its core, the Alpha Clash Online League is about bringing the community together through competition, opportunity, and fun. It is free to enter and rewards players not just for winning, but for showing up and playing. Keep it fun!

Alpha Clash Online League – Season 2

The first official Alpha Clash Online League kicks off, giving players around the world a new way to compete, improve, and qualify for the highest levels of play.

This is a free, structured online league played over multiple rounds using a Swiss format. Each round, players will be paired with one opponent and have several days to complete their match.

Format

  • Swiss pairing system

  • One match per round

  • 4 days per round

  • Total of 7 rounds

  • Play on TCG Arena (Default)

    • Participants may agree to play via alternative options (TTS, Webcam, in-person, etc.). However, if players do not mutually agree, the default is TCG Arena.

Entry

  • Free to enter

  • Open to all players worldwide

World Championship Qualification

  • Top 8 non-qualified players qualify for the Alpha Clash Online World Championship in December 2026

Rewards

  • 100 XP for participation (must play at least one match)

  • 100 XP per Match win

Rules

Scheduling

  • Players coordinate match times directly with their opponent

    • There will be a dedicated channel within the Alpha Clash Discord channel to find opponents called #online-leagues

  • Matches must be completed within the round window

Rules & Play

  • Matches are self-reported (Both players need to report the result)

  • No live judges; players are expected to resolve games fairly

  • Judges may be available in the Alpha Clash Discord Judge channel for questions or disputes

  • Players may use a different deck each round if they choose

    • Once a match begins, players must use the same deck for both games within that match

Match Reporting & Verification

  • Both players must submit results

  • Screenshots are strongly recommended for all match results

  • Players are encouraged to record and/or stream matches

  • No 'spectators' present on TCG Arena. Only the two players should be inside the actual match. Any spectating should be done via live streams.

Unreported Matches

  • If neither player reports → match is recorded as a draw

  • If only one player reports → that result will be recorded as final

No-Show / Inactivity

  • If a player does not respond to scheduling attempts within 48 hours, notify admins via Discord channel

  • No-show = match loss

Scheduling Expectations

  • Players must make a good-faith effort to schedule

  • Players should provide at least 2–3 reasonable time options

Disputes & Rulings

  • If a dispute occurs mid-match:

    • Pause the game and use the Ask a Judge channel in Discord for assistance

  • If no Judge is available:

    • Players must resolve to the best of their ability

Disconnects / Technical Issues

  • If a disconnect occurs, players should attempt to resume the game state if possible

Concessions

  • Players may concede at any time

Cheating & Conduct

  • Any form of cheating, abuse, or falsified reporting = immediate removal

  • Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in warnings or removal

  • This includes harassment, stalling, or bad-faith play

Drops & Replacements

  • Players may drop at any time

  • Dropped players will not be paired in future rounds

  • Any late additions will receive a round loss for any round(s) that have already started or taken place prior to joining
