Introducing MAPTASY, the revolutionary game that combines fantasy sports with board-game strategy. The draft board is a game board. For March Mania college basketball tournaments, all 68 teams have a territory on a map, which changes every year. Choose a team in the first round and expand to adjacent territories in later rounds. Build your empire while blocking your opponents and boxing them in. When the games begin, score big when your teams advance deep into the tournament or upset higher seeds. Ideal for smaller groups than traditional fantasy leagues and bracket pools. Play with any combination of humans and bots.

This multi-week event offers many ways to earn XP rewards.

• Check Out Maptasy* - create and play a Practice League vs. bots for a past season of March Mania through Sunday March 15, 2026 (250 XP)

• Play in a League - join and draft in an XP Maptasy league (below) or a league created by a friend for March Mania 2026 (1000 XP , limited to the first 50)*

  • XP League on Monday March 16 at 6pm PDT for Men's Tournament

  • XP League on Wednesday March 18 at 5pm PDT for Women's Tournament

• Create a League - set up a Maptasy League for Men's or Women's March Mania 2026 for your friends and family. Drafts must be completed by end of the first round of the college basketball tournament (2000 XP, limited to the first 20)*

*To earn the rewards for playing in or creating a league, the league must be for this season's Men's or Women's tournament, and must include at least 3 human players. Only the "Check Out Maptasy" rewards can be earned by playing a Practice League on a prior season, and for playing solely against bots. Players can earn all three rewards, but only one of each per person.
