Maptasy Sports - fantasy sports with board-game strategy - launches 2nd year of March Mania
Hi, we're Maptasy Sports, a new platform that is redefining fantasy sports by blending traditional gameplay with board-game strategy. Unlike conventional drafts, Maptasy uses a dynamic, map-based draft board. When you select a team, you claim its real-world location—but your next pick must be in an adjacent territory. This creates a whole new layer of competition where you can "box in" opponents or steal their targets. It transforms fantasy draft day from a simple selection process into a strategic battle for territorial control.
Last year we entered the fantasy sports market with games like March Mania (for the men’s and women’s college basketball championship tournaments), Pro Football Draft Mania in April, and College and Pro Football Mania, offering fans new ways to engage with sports they love beyond the standard bracket or season-long league. We just joined XP Network and are excited to launch our second season of Maptasy March Mania for the 2026 tournaments.
