What is expected of a Mentor?

Before being finalized as a Mentor, one would need to complete the onboarding process and demo training.

A minimum of ONE demo day per three month period at a local game store.

You must be registered on XP Network and your username must be submitted to jay.casper@warlordgames.com & isaac.paul@warlordgames.com.

The event must be logged in XP Network as described in the following Warlord Games XPN Basic Training #1 video. A maximum of FOUR demo events per month is allowed. These events may be demos related to Bolt Action or Konflikt ‘47. Mentors are to ensure that players are signed up on XP to join their event. Mentors must scan in those players for XP Points to be assigned following the conclusion of the event.

What is a Demo Event?

A Demo Event is a minimum of 3-hours of teaching Bolt Action/K’47 to interested players, novices, customers, and attendees for the location scheduled. The location should be a local game store within your area. Demos should play no longer than 20-30 minutes and highlight the basic mechanics of the game system. Players should be able to jump into the demo with ease, drawing order dice within the first few minutes of sitting down. By the end of the demo, they should understand what the game is about and understand the basics of play. Advise the player on entry level products (Starter/Intro set or Army Boxes). If available, provide a free sprue only if they enjoyed the game.

What does a Mentor get?

A Mentor will gain XP Points with every event completed. This XP can be used to purchase Warlord Games products on the Warlord XPN Store. A single Mentor Demo Event will reward 37,500 XP Points to the Mentor. Mentors will also be provided with sample sprues for giveaway support for demos upon request. These may be shipped to the local store if they are an active trade customer with Warlord Games.
